Job description
The company
TraceAir is a construction SaaS startup that provides data analytics to construction teams to help them better manage their job sites. We currently work with top land developers, home builders, contractors, and engineers across the US (~40 states) and Canada. This is a great chance to work with a fast-growing Series B company.
TraceAir was started in 2015 as a group of physicists and mechanical engineers who fell in love with the construction industry and the people who build our homes, schools, hospitals, and roads. We were surprised to realize that the industry hadn't yet adopted automation and technological advances, and we strived to bring about a technological revolution. We made this our mission and inspired the best and brightest minds to bring this change with us.
The Team
TraceAir is looking for one intern or a full-time employee to join the Go-To-Market team in its quest to discover, validate, and build new growth strategies for the company.
We are a small team of three (two Columbia MS&E and one Stanford GSB (MSx’16) alumni) with a lot of influence on the company’s strategy to automate construction.
Our goal is to find a new product-market fit to expand the total addressable market for the company.
The Projects
Our new team member will be given valuable opportunities to gain hands-on experience and work on meaningful projects, such as:
- An add-on service with administrative and operational complexities. To enable this new service, we must be legally and operationally set up in all geographies of our presence. That will involve finding and onboarding partners, implementing changes to the existing workflows, and working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Assisting with research on the value proposition of a new product for executives in the industry and helping outline its requirements. This product will help increase the adoption of our standard service while also creating an up-selling opportunity.
- Discovering specific pain points and formulating value propositions for an adjacent market segment. This project will involve customer development interviews, sales validation (closing a few deals), and supporting the sales team in the execution.
