DevOps Engineer (Part-time)

About TraceAir:
TraceAir is a 10-year-old startup transforming the construction industry. We develop software that guides the earthworks phase of construction using 3D models of sites. With a team of ~100 people distributed across Yerevan, Valencia, Seattle, and more, we work with U.S. homebuilders to optimize their operations. Our development center is based in Valencia, and we’re now looking to strengthen our engineering team with a part-time DevOps specialist.

About the Role:
We are looking for a part-time DevOps Engineer to standardize and streamline our CI/CD processes across multiple services (Python workers, APIs, and AWS Lambdas). The role requires about 40 hours per month (~2 hours per day) with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Unify and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Python services and AWS Lambdas.

• Apply existing templates and best practices to ensure consistency

• Support build and deployment processes for:

  • Lambdas: build (Docker, Bash, AWS CLI, Jenkins), deploy (Terraform, AWS, Jenkins)

  • Python services: build (Docker, Bash), deploy (Kubernetes, Helm, Bash)
    
    

• Fluent in Russian

• Strong experience with Jenkins, Bash, Docker, Linux, Makefile

• Basic Python knowledge (venv, requirements, etc.)

• Familiarity with Terraform and AWS

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm
  Ability to work independently and follow given guidelines/templates
  

What We Offer:

• Part-time role: ~40 hours per month (approx. 2 hours/day, flexible)

• Consultancy agreement or individual entrepreneur contract
  

Fully remote role (restrictions: it is not allowed to work from Russia and Belarus)
